This
training series grows out of over 50 years of child welfare experience,
both social work and legal, and draws on personal life experiences.
Each
training session is designed to enhance practice by providing a practical
and sensible way to understand the issue presented.
Each session can stand alone, or combine into a comprehensive series
that provides a basis for getting children through the child welfare
system to permanence. This training provides a solid foundation in
philosophy and values, as well as tools and techniques for all areas
of child welfare practice.
Both
the fee for a particular training event and the length of the training
can be adjusted to meet the needs and the budget of your organization.
We are committed to making a difference in children’s lives
by training and supporting the many dedicated people who struggle
in the system and sometimes against the odds.
